Fingers crossed CHPR will sell me some at a similar price then...... were these colour matched at that price or did you have them painted after....I need black ones.

just finished fitting mine today. pretty easy after i messed up the first one, the rest were a lot quicker. i didnt pull the spring back when fitting the new handle and just pushed it into place. heard a snap of a clip and now it opens and closes but is not very smooth. see how it goes but ill probably replace it. |

Fitted the door handles this mornings and it seemed quite easy.

have replaced all of mine today ... supplied by Charles Hurst (thanks guys) ... broke one on installation ... didn't realise the spring you had to pull was in the door not on the handle ... obvious when you see it !!

See if you can get a small magnet on the end of a telescopic handle - they look like a rod radio antenna but with a magentic head 0r if you have a small magnet try sticking it on the end of a thin bamboo cane using a lump of blutack and go fishing inside the door with it! A very large lump of Blutac on the end of a thin cane also makes a good thing to fish inside the door card 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks. well the car is secure so the aa man said. I spent all morning looking for the telesopic magnet and nothing. Going into town and get a magnet and string and give all my neighbours a laugh.

well i used the magnet on a some string and you know what happened? The magnet stuck to the door and when i pulled it the string broke.
