P0170 code help! ...2006 RRSSC... freeze data

My 2006 range rover sport S/C 4.2 starting giving me code p0170. This code comes on about 1minute after the car starts up (first i get a pending code, then after the second cycle i get the MIL). Car seems to run fine.

This is the freeze data i got:

You get all that lot on the driver info screen................................................. Question Shocked
LR must be putting one huge screen in the binnacle of USA spec cars to get all that info on display.





































There is something you are not telling us - like you have a means of accessing/downloading the Engine ECU fault log 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

i used a regular OBD II scanner i borrowed from a friend. It displays freeze data.... but i have no idea what it means lol

You could try emailing BAS, one of the forum sponsors - BAS writes remaps for ECU's so that lot will probably mean something to him and he will be able to de-code it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

P017000 Fuel Trim (Bank 1)

• Fuel adaption Bank 1 exceeds threshold
Check for other DTCs and rectify as necessary.
Clear DTC and retest. Malaysia Boleh!

i just saw p0170 but i assume its the same (fuel trim bank 1)...

i cleaned the DTC and retested, same error. No other codes have popped up.

software update seems to have fixed the problem.
