Just to be clear here Gary. On the Friday, you saw the car and told them that, yes, you wanted to buy it if they sorted out the things you weren't happy with? If that's the case then my view is that they have a case to keep the original holding deposit ie the £500. It's not generous of them though and, bearing in mind that internet forums like this will post all this stuff, not good for business either. But they definitely have a case to keep it.

so you picked the new one up on saturday and your not sure of the colour scheme??? perhaps I am missing something but why if you didn't agree to proceed with the original sale why did the dealer have the Certificate for your cherished number? |
