Getting it on September (all arranged).

What should avoid and what to check to insure that the car is ok.

Hi All,

New to the forum and also new to the world of Range Rovers!! I am in a dilemma...I have my credit line approved...(not easy in this climate!) and am ready to splash out on a RRS....or Vogue SE..Or a RRS/Vogue Supercharged...I just dont know which one?! Big Cry Can anyone advise me if they have had any of these models and switched to another?if so..why? after my house, this will be the biggest purchase I am gonna make..so want it to be the right one!

Any advice greatly appreciated...in the meantime I will check out relevant threads!

Very Annoyed,

Thanks for the info. I am seriously considering a RRS SC 2005 with 30k on the clock at £27k. However people I have spoken to think I am mad, as the maintenance cost on the 4.2SC is astronomical...is this the case?

Maintenance cost isn't any more expensive than any other premium marque really... what is costly is the fuel if you happen to be a high mileage user.

All depends what sort of ride you want. FFRR lends itself to wafting around the place looking regal - the RRS is more of a drivers car, but loses out in the cabin spec stakes. You pays your money you takes your choice Very Happy

Personally, I reckon second hand RRS SC is the one to get if you don't mind the fuel bill Thumbs Up
