Good evening!

Ive been a RRS owner now for - ooh just over 24 hours! Had a browse through this forum - liked what I saw - registered - job done!
Im sure it'll be as informative as other marques forums Ive been a member of.

Previous vehicles owned (some jubious!) include:
Sapphire Sierra Cosworth, Escort Cosworth, Mitsubishi Evo Vl. - "boy racer" days?!! But alot of car/speed & not for supercar money!

VW Golf TDi, Audi TT, - buying a house & trying to be sensible!

BMW M3, Porsche C4S, Aston V8 Vantage - Loved each of them.

2002 Ford Mondeo - trying to be sensible (again) - so a "run around" coz buying another house!

RR Sport 4.2L Supercharged - can't be sensible any longer - fancied something different!

Im sure I'll have some questions - but hope I can contribute atleast some 'top tip' or help toward a fellow forum member!

Hi all,

Been a regular visitor to this forum for a couple of weeks now,so I figured it was about time to register.
Had my TDV8 for a year now and it still manages to make me smile like a luny whenever I drive it,which is a good thing I suppose,or maby I need professional help, I'm not sure.

I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Hello. Just got my first Land Rover. I've put on about 1000 km and love the way it goes.

In Korea, there are only two trims available, 4.4 HSE and 2.7TDV6 HSE. Thought of getting 4.4 but the gas price... way up there... And I also wanted to try out diesel engine. First time.

Have been reading this forum for quite some time before (and since) buying a MY08 TDV6 HSE in Nov last year and it's proved extremely informative. I had some dialogue with James @ Charles Hurst re a TDV8 but alas we couldn't quite achieve the trade req'd on my Alpina at the time so had to stick with Sytners (Guy Salmon) and go for a TDV6......James, you're right.....already loooking at TDV8s!

Have been used to M cars and more performance based motors but have to say, despite the fact that my RRS isn't the quickest thing in a straight line, I absolutely love it and it ranks as one of the best cars I've had to date as an overall package. With a 3 month old wee lad it (just) manages to fit in all the kit that someone so small seems to require when heading up to Scotland to see the grandparents!

I've already had the infamous DR knocking/worn bushes/ball joints etc in my 5K mileage of ownership (got car with 18K miles on it) but this forum has been most helpful in establishing what's wrong and has been 'useful' when speaking to GS service dept Thames Ditton (who have been pretty good thus far).

Hi to everyone. Been lurking in here for a while now but finally picked up my Sport on Wednesday from my local dealer. It's a TDV8 on a 57 plate and is certainly a lot faster than the Disco 300Tdi i have been pedalling for the last 11 years!

It has certainly made the 1 hour each way commute to work some of the best time in the day...

The only issue i have is the knocking suspension. Whilst i had read all about this and seen the TSB it's dissapointing that the dealer didn't pick this up before i collected the vehicle and remedy it. i did ask if i could have a copy of the warranty history on the vehicle but the dealer came over all vague about service history and what was and wasn't available to them. ust exactly what records are available to them if they have the registration and VIN number?

Hi to one and all...I look forward to chatting with you and sharing information about Range Rover Sports.

I have a 2005 Supercharged version which I absolutely love...its got everything i need in a vehicle and I have been updating the interior recently using products by Powerful UK. Its really looking good now the interior has lost that 'old fashioned' wood effect hockey sticks and door cards...replaced with aluminium and piano black brings it right up todate.

i will post some photos very soon and look forward to hearing from like minded people
