If the brake wear sensor wire is damaged it obviously needs to be replaced. This is a fairly straight forward DIY fix, as it is simply a case of unplugging one sensor wire and plugging in the replacement. The warning light will disappear once the sensor is replaced. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I would get LR parts fitted. Supply your own pads and ask for a parts discount. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

But LR use ferodo or similar anyway - so OEM is 3rd party anyway |

Changed approximately 4 months ago, skimming the rear rotors was a false economy, as the difference in skimming vs wholesale replacement ended up at less than 80 dollars (so had the lot replaced), so no doubt saved me a further 500-600 dollars within 6 months. In Australia the cost at the dealership was $1440 Oz (about 1K US or 700 pounds in real money) all round, friend is getting his D3 done for 1200 at a LR independent specialist..
