United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Maybe the farming/utility companies/armed forces and rescue services who normally buy lots of Defenders don't want autos so LR has decreed that there is no demand for them.

Seems such a shame that there is no auto's out there, the NAS 90 if I recall correctly was an Auto tdi ? always liked the look of the NAS, Just don't know why land rover never made more of these as it would give the 90 a wider appeal amongst buyers.

Well I am off to Glasgow next week, just wondering if I should take the 90 or RRS ? difficult decisions.. only coming up on business for a couple of days. Range Rover Sport HSE TDV6 - 08 Plate

SVX Photographs as requested.

Recently had the opportunity to take some photos of our SVX in Somerset whilst at work.

The SVX is great fun to drive, but it is nice at the end of a long day to go home and drive the RRS, a few more creature comforts.

It never ceases to amaze me how unneccesarily ill-informed you people are!! There is more to automobile engineering than that which you read on Pistonheads, or "heard" a mate say. Why I bother to write a certain specialist's web-site I really sometimes wonder.
Yes, a "certain firm" does auto Defenders, yes they have done an auto SVX (also with hand-controls) yes they are doing a S/C V8 SVX, no, you are unlikely to make a TdV8 work in a Defender, yes they are making a TdV6 Defender. Yes, they are discussing hybrids at the highest level (but not any hybrid you people ever heard of)
Yes they did make the fastest most accelerative S/C RRSport ever when they could be bothered with such things.
Read the said website. That firm does not expect you to buy anything from them, since historically, none of you ever have (with a few delightful exceptions who know who they are Thumbs Up )
So, treat this post as informative, not "disguised commercial"

Happy eBaying!! Confused

Stop being so presumptuous, would you?

Not sure what you're trying to say in this thread, and why you try and maintain such a high and mighty attitude.

If you're only here to insult and belittle people I'd much rather you didn't come onto the site. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Yeovil landrover arranged the tints to be done before we picked the car up and also arranged for a NAS spec tow bar to be fitted, all done at the dealer so we just arrived and she was ready to come home with us as our new baby.. Range Rover Sport HSE TDV6 - 08 Plate

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I was at a 4x4 specialist at Nursling near Southampton on Saturday and they have a 2002 / 52 Defender 90 TD5 County Auto in Epsom with 69000 miles on the clock on their forecourt if anybody is looking for an automatic Defender. It's pricey though at £13000. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Sounds nice, but to be honest we are happy with the SVX and the manual gear box, seems to work fine for us.

Would have been a nice option to have the ability to choose between a manual and auto though. Range Rover Sport HSE TDV6 - 08 Plate
