2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Welcome Wullie - just to say that on that link you have to download each section of the handbook seperately as pdf's and some of them are pretty big files. You cannot just download a whole manual - but you may have found that out by now! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Newbie Saying - Hi!

Hi all - I'm a newbie to this forum, however, not totally new to RR ownership having previously had a 4.4 V8 Vogue.

I'm considering buying an 07 reg 3.6 TDV8 in Lugano Teal with black interior and have some questions for you all:

1. Where is it possible to connect an iPod- is a kit required for full interface? Is it possible to remotely control the iPod?

2. The car I'm looking at has a cradle kit (no adaptor) in the centre armrest. There is a button with a blue light on it - does this mean it has bluetooth (which is essential) - do all HSE's come with bluetooth and will my Nokia E71 work?

3. How big a job is it to fit rear screens and how much?

4. There is a red tow bar "kit" under the rear clip off bumper cover - does this mean it has a tow bar?

I would be really greatful if you could share some pictures of how all this might work/plug in?

Cheers and looking forward to being an active member! Thumbs Up

James

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black

Hi all - Just saying hello. I'm a convert from the Disco3 forum. After 8 years as a Discovery driver I took delivery of a black RRS SE yesterday. What a great car but what a muck magnet that black paint is!
Cheers,
Col I'd be unstoppable - if I could just get started

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Hi Martin,

Good to join you. I bought a 1 year old RRS TDV8 HSE last summer and still very much enjoying it. Had a great trip down to the South of France in it too. Got a few questions but will post in the right areas.

cheers
Andy

very good choice slick. i never test a supercharged, i have a tdv8 and yesterday i was follow a supercharged for several kms and on each acceleration it was like an elastic. what a deception, i was thinking that the difference between tdv8 and SC was minimal ... but no, big difference! RRS TDV8 HSE java black, privacy glass, bluetooth, clear side repetears.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver

Very Happy Hi everybody.
this is my first time on the RR forum and I am pleased to be a member.Well done Martin for getting this site
up and running...you have done a good job.
I have owned my RR for three weeks now and am enjoying this new driving experiance to the full.
my other baby is a Hi lux 4x4 and I have owned and personally maintained her for 14 years.
My new baby is a 2005 2.7 deisel HSE and as a commercial HGV engineer I will be hoping to carry out all of the
service and maintainance work myself. The only thing that worrys me a bit with working on a vehicle of this
prestige is that I am not very clued up with the electronics and have not got access to any of the software I may need to re'set service lights etc......I am an old school fitter in the 21st century ......its the age where main agents dont want us looking after our own vehicles, and I find that hard to come to terms with.
If any of you guys can help me with repair and maintainance advice ,that will be great.
I am one of those people that gets a great sense of satisfaction from knowing that my car is always fitted
with the best spec parts ,and if I have carried the work out myself I know exactly whats what and gain confidence in the reliability of my vehicle.
Happy driving--mcqueen. sometimes its not what people are telling you that is the most interesting thing...but what
they decline to tell is .
