Sounds like it could be an actuator issue which will require stealer assistance and recalibration, I know, I had the exact same fault that was SUPPOSED to be on early D3 cars only.......mine was an 06. L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

Found the emergency release guys. But I had to remove the plastic around the gear selecctor to get to it, anyway I gave it a good tug!!! (as you do), all happened. Long story short? Had to have it lifted on to a low loader and taken to stealers. I spoke to them at 5 o clock tonight. Problem is that there is something seized within the drum, this inturn is preventing them from getting the drum cover off as the shoes are biting, capiche?? Moral of the story is, EPB's are s**te!! don't use it. Thanks for all your advice though guys.

Gas Man, I had exactly the same problem & have never used the EPB since. LR Assist guy told me it was a crap design and a common problem! 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
