I have considered that I might have been driving it too carfully before (although I'm no slow coach). Maybe my light use of the throttle has been counter-productive? I dunno.

Sorry to throw an 'fly in the ointment' but dont believe the mpg reading in the car.....you have to brim the tank every time you fill up and manually work out the mpg from the odometer reading to get the true mpg.

If you drive the car in commandshift manual/ sequential shift mode you will get even better mpg ............................ but then what is the point of having an auto box if you are going to move the shifter and not leave it to the computer! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
