Cyprus 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Quicksilver exhaust installed on TDV8, 1st impressions...

Quicksilver exhaust system with quad tailpipes. Installation took around 2 hours cause we found it difficult to 'align' the tailpipes and placed them in the right position. Anyway It looks great, but i suspect one thing & i want to ask for your opinion. Since the exhaust has been installed i realised a bit of 'loss' of power, especially when accelarating. May be its not a loss of power but definately the acceleration is not the same... its somehow 'smoother' now. The TDV8 is now more like as it was before i upgrade the engine (DMS Upgrade) and that worries me a bit... Guys i hope you can understand my Greek-lish and advise me what to do. Im thinking to re install the oem exhaust back. Is there a chance that the new exhaust affect the dms upgrade? or is that a result of back-pressure???... RRS TDV8 HSE Java Black

Hmmm, Do I detect a note of sarcasim Georgio Whistle

Speaking only for myself - I don't have a TDV8 or know the 1st thing about what effect fitting your particular type of exhaust will have on the performance of your car. I therefore do not feel qualified to comment on your post and didn't wish to waste your precious time making you read my opinion, which would obviously have been a load of uninformed bulls Censored t.

Ah well, Now you've gone and made me reply to your 2nd comment --- probably a waste of both our times! Neutral

I think it may be down to the quantum pressure build up in the calithium crystals that could be causing a dilithium inbalance of the front force projection field

Sorry Georgio... people here will help if they can, but if folks don't know the answer they won't reply to tell you that Very Happy

All I'd suggest would be that you go back to whoever fitted the exhaust and ask them?
