Lazy entry

Can anybody tell how can I deactivate the movement of the driver's seat?
I have tried to switch the lazy entry option on and off but have not observed any difference, it still moves... Big Cry
Thanks

You mean it still moves back when you remove the key from the ignition, along with the steering column? If so, that's not Lazy Entry, that's an easy exit "feature" built into cars equipped with electric steering columns, not sure if they gave it a name... The knob to adjust the steering column should have an Auto and an "Off/Manual" (a steering wheel icon) position: If the knob is presently on Auto, flip it to the other position and the seat and steering columns should stop moving automatically when you remove the key.

Yes, if your problem is like what umbertob suspects, this is called "automatic seat movement". Like umbertob advises, to prevent automatic movement of the driver’s seat, turn the control to its clockwise position. Thumbs Up Malaysia Boleh!

Coko, you're incorrigble! RTFM!! Laughing

Basically, when the lazy entry feature is enabled, the vehicle will store the seat and mirror positions for each remote control. The next time the vehicle is unlocked using a remote control, the position of the seat and mirrors will adjust to the last used position. Malaysia Boleh!
