Does the microGo display the actual speed limit of the road you are on all the time, the Talex doesn't I have since found out, only when in camera detection areas, maybe I ought to change mine, where and how have you fixed it to the dash, have you tested it yet for detection? Arrived - RRSport 2016 HSE SDV6 HSE Loire Blue/Ivory leather Privacy Glass Gone - RRSPORT 2010 TDV6 HSE Stornaway/Ebony Premium leather with Lunar stitching, Heated Steering Wheel and Privacy Glass. Gone - RRSPORT TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue/Ivory, Privacy Glass, Tasmods Sills, Supercharged Black Badges all round, Grille & Vents, plus RRSport Sticker & Brolly of course. |

The mircoGo displays your speed as a default setting, then when approaching a camera it starts to beep if your going too fast, displaying your current speed, the actual speed limit in a circle and a decreasing bar, showing how far from the camera you are

So, like the Talex unit it doesn't display the speed limit until you are in a detection zone, hmm maybe I will keep the Talex after all, although the MicroGo does have a neat looking display.

re: location of power... i cheated and pulled a switched live through from my NAV.TV unit. Connected this up a new cigarette lighter and hid it behind the panel holding the light switch. Loads of space behind this panel, plus its then close to my final destination on bottom right hand corner of windscreen.. it's a fairly tight squeeze to pull the mini-usb through, but with a bit of perseverance you'll be fine.

Thanks Lemm, so have I got this right, you found a switched live behind the light switch panel and connected a another cigarette lighter to it to plug in your Sat/Nav/TV unit? ...will take a look tomorrow...thanks for that. Thanks for that PJPR01, I found that one in my search but unfortunately it is to connect up to the centre light panel not the dash, thanks anyway... not quite... power for nav unit is pulled in from rear. A pain, but part of a second project to install a second battery. Easiest place to pull a new power feed in the front is from the existing cig lighter. RRS First Edition S/C, Vesuvius Orange, Rear Entertainment, Alpine TUE-T200DV, Stormer Alloys. (+ 19" MTR's for playing in the snow!) |
