Thanks guys, think I'll give land rover Insurance a ring on Monday,I tried NFU when I bought the car but for some strange reason they told me they don't cover "Business Use",can't work that one out surely all farmers use their vehicles for "Business" rather than "social, domestic or pleasure" or do they all fib to get low premiums?

Wow! Maybe Tata Insurance no longer wants to insure Land Rovers! My policy is due for renewal in March so I should be getting my renewal notice any day now. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'm with Priviliege too, I must admit they surprised me with their quote of £350 fully comp with protected NCB, and that's with my wife who's 23 years old on my RRS S/C!! Shocked

I can only assume that given that it's a company car they assume one is going to drive it like a
t Censored t,given that I haven't made a claim for 7 years and in that time driven approx.200,000 miles it really galls me that twentsomethings seem to be getting a much better deal Big Cry MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Im with Sainsburys £400 ish ,but watch out if your car gets stolen ,they put you straight onto a company called absolute ,who give you voice evaluation tests over the phone ie lie detector ...In theory good for the market ,in practise makes you feel like a criminal...
