Could be a sensor or you have a slight air leak in one of the suspension airbags - a visit to the dealer would be best before you damage something.

You need your air suspension calibrating! Mine had exactly the same problem and was sorted out by the dealer at the beginning of Jan. |

If I'm reading this correctly....you are leaving your car parked up for a week in standard road height. So not locked in access height. If that is the case, the explanation and solution is simple. If you leave the car in road height the computor will remain on and drain your battery. But also the car will constantly try to keep the air suspension level. The end result being that the compressor runs out of air to do this and it will sag somewhere. Hence when you restart it the compressor produces air and it all works again. Solution - lock it in acccess mode when you park up, unless you are only going to be away for a short period. Benefits are that you will if nothing else not end up with a flat battery. Josh, no need to lock it in access, just lowering it to access is enough. Mine gets left for 3 months at a time and often in normal mode (my father has not sussed out the lowering to access height even after 6 years of driving my FFRR and both RRS's and he claims to have read the entire owners manual!) and I have never come home to a flat battery - it does sink on it's suspension to access level over about a week though!

i cant believe that when parked, the air suspension computer is still on/trying to level the suspension/draining the battery. are you sure that is correct? |

My car even lowers to below access height after a week or so and it doesn't matter whether I park it in normal or in access height. It looks as if there's no air left at all in the suspension bags. SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

No it isn't correct............................... or if it is then the batteries must be dammed good as I leave mine car unmoved for three months at a time and it always starts first turn of the key, even at this time of the year when we get down to -10c on occassion, and the car is not garaged. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |

The shop manual states that the suspensions module "wakes up" 2 hours after turning off the ignition, and every 6 hours after that, automatically when the car is parked. It checks vehicle height and, if the car is not level within a specific tolerance, it makes small downward adjustments then goes back to sleep for 6 more hours... So it's definitely possible that the car may slowly lower to a height lower than what you left her in over extended time. But since your car leans quite noticeably after a couple of days, I believe your system may have developed a very small leak in an exhaust valve (or an air spring), causing it to slowly sag on one side. The module compensates for this by lowering the car a little bit every 6 hours to level it, and if this goes on long enough the suspensions could go down all the way to the bump stops, in theory. |

rrsboy did you already solved the problem? It seems that my car has exactly the same problem as yours just that I did not notice it until recently because I always park my car in access mode in my garage and than you can not see it. But now I parked it out side of the garage a few times and I noticed that after approx.2h car leans on left back side like yours. Please let me know if your stealer already found a fix for it. 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,..... |
