Our MY07 HSE came with Brembo brakes as standard but not Dynamic Response or 20" wheels so LR do have an official "Brembo only" spec, albeit possibly a UK spec.

This is the standard HSE spec in the UK for the TDV6, no 20" wheels or Dynamic Response, this may be key for your lab as it shows that LR fit only the same parts as you have fitted as a standard specification... Upto 7a chassis in the UK (2007my) you had to purchase a 'Dynamic Pack' to gain Brembo's. This pack also came with 20" wheels, Adaptive Headlamps, Dynamic Response and a Cooler Box.

Looks like my response has been edited slightly Rupert I do pride myself on my clarity of communication........ clear as mud! Did I mention that if you ordered the DP then you'd get DR and AHL in addition to the Brembo's, however at 7a the DP was deleted and the DR and Brembo's was then set as standard spec on HSE, but not SE or S. |

Who me I'd prefer to look at it as "Selecting the Highlights"
No you didn't but I'm glad you brought it up, as I was just going to ask about that very issue |

What are you woried about? I'd tell them to F* off and I'd put them on anyways, who cares what they think, either way you have to pay for brake pads etc. I'll take them off your hands |

MO its a bit different in Denmark and Germany - if you don't get the modification into your cars papers by the authorities you will lose your insurance cover for the car and the police is allowed to confiscate the car .....

Not just Germany etc, most insurances look to insure a defined risk, in most territories (maybe even Arizona???), modifying the car without informing the insurance Co can invalidate cover... Cheers

Even changing your wheels from what came as standard from the showroom, can in some cases invalidate the insurance. No matter if they are genuine LR wheels or not |
