Can I fit 255/55/19 sized tires to my RR Sport? Normal size is 255/50/19 |

255/55/19 is the D3 std 19" size. LR clearly want the RRS to be a more sporty ride in all senses so dropping the aspect ratio gives slightly better acceleration, firmer ride, arguably better looks

Ok, by my reckoning from all the answers on here it will make little difference to me as we are in the mountains and go off road every day just to get home. |

your better off with the 55 tyres then as you will have more ground clearance - by a few mm |

Yep - also good to see an RRS being used for "real" |

We had a Disco 2, which was great, but off road in comparison to the RR sport is not in the same league. Lower gearing on the sport gives greater control, especially on icy descents and for rocky terrain. Unfortunatly it does eat tyres |

If you are interested I could sell you four 255/50 R19 Vredestein Wintrac 4 xtreme for say CHF 500.00 the set. There is very little difference between 50 and 55 size and it should be cheaper for you to return the ones you've ordered and get mine...? They are great tyres and have about 8'000 km on them and still look like new. Let me know if you are interested. I am based near Lake Constance and shipping them to your area should be cheap enough. SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD 2010 TDV8 Ultimate Edition, zermatt-ebony-grand lacquer, and all the goodies, plus Superchips Bluefin ECU performance upgrade, Gibson Performance exhaust tips gone after only 7 months: MY10 TDV63.0 HSE, zermatt-ebony-anigree, Dynamic Response, Rear diff-lock, flappy paddles, premium leather, Sunroof, PTI, privacy glass, S/C design 5 Spoke Diamond Turned alloys |
