Pros and Cons of LPG

Thinking of installing LPG sytemas I own a petrol model.
Has anyone done this to their RRS.

What are the pros and cons? In terms of Market value, Performance, Congestion taxing, Road tax etc.

Thanks guys 2006 4.4 HSE, Java black, Alpaca beige int, super charged grill and vents, dvd headrest, fridge, bluetooth, etc

There is definately one person on here who has had it done it recently.

He was telling me no loss of performance and now costs 16p a mile to run Exclamation And about 7-9 days for the work.

I think it will affect your warranty. And you will probably have to get it serviced elsewhere as LR won't touch it. But there are plenty of good independants who will.

I doubt that it will affect the market value IMHO.

Can't give you an opinion on your other questions, but someone will know. TDV6 - gone

Also bear in mind that LR do not approve of any gas convertion to a car that is still with-in it's warranty - so you will invalidate the makers warranty on a car less than 3 years old. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, you don't invalidate the whole warranty, Just the engine. My Dad went through this when he had his FFRR converted. If the Conversion is done using a reputable supplier then they usually offer a seperate warranty to cover anything you lose from LR. In my dad's case this was standard with the conversion. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

I think the LPG tanks takes the space of the spare wheel so you'd need to carry your spare in the boot. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
