Heath you won't find any in dealers because it was dicontinued in the UK in late 2006 when the TDv8 was introduced for MY 2007, it was never very popular in the UK as it gave horrendous fuel economy for little go and more folks went for the S/C version instead. The 4.4 is still available as an export model for USA/Canada/Singapore and a few other markets where diesels are not really accepted for passenger cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Heath, your dealer's talking out of his ar$e. It isn't a feature of the car! It a problem that can be fixed - some owners on the American site (http://www.rangerovers.net/forum) have reported this (mostly on the supercharged though)and it's been fixed in most cases. The petrol V8 is far more common in the USA so you might want to ask the same question on that site. |

Thank y for your comments, I am fully aware that its a load of crap! they dont kow what they are doing and are trying to just get rid of me with silling remarks..... I have know asked them to put there bold statement in writing! Yeah c that happening! All im trying to do is find other people with RR petrol who can confirm this is or is not the case! PLEASE HELP! |

Also TJ has the G4 version which is a 4.4 V8. There is a G4 dedicated website - VA can probably give you the URL for it 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

There was a TSB issued in February 2007 concerning "Slow Acceleration from a Standing Start". The affected RRS were the V8 Normally Aspirated engines only - VIN-range 5A900505-7A992790. Malaysia Boleh!
