Sorry Kaine I disagree - The FFRR is dated and too large and for a young man like MDP the image is just wrong, Martin needs a car to reflect his image, sleek, stylish and fast!

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Flattery gets you everywhere.
MDP you need to chop the fighterbomber in for something hip and chic .........................

so how about a Skoda Roomster Scout. It meets the room requirement for MDP jnr, can carry the mountain bikes with ease, cheap insurance and RFT, miles per gallon like you've been dreaming about , has 4WD and about as much street cred as a 2CV! And I bet you won't get Mrs MDP to even sit in it! Also it's from VAG so satisfies the desire to have an Audi .....

http://www.skoda.co.uk/skoda3g/content/wha...scout.aspx

Oh and maybe I should mention the dealer would give you money back for your Fighterbomber as the Roomster is only £9500 OTR!

Hello Hello.........

I'm back from being away again......... busy old life I lead, but not as busy as some Wink

In my abscence i have been out testing more stuff. Nearly bought a 4.4 Vogue Se FFRR....old stock - pre registered but still delivery mileage for £48k but it was sold Big Cry

However - I have become very keen on a Brand New Q7 in Phantom Black - 21" twin spoke alloys , Black Verona Plus leather , full electric heated memory seats , in fact electric everything Shocked Panoramic sunroof - very impressive - keyless entry/stop/start which is superb, fully powered tailgate, full bluetooth integration on the MMI high colour screen. including additional privacy handset, reverse camera , TV , etc etc etc etc etc This car is physical if I say Yes ?????

The other is still possible - ie. Factory special order A6 Avant 3.0tdi quattro Le mans in Misano red with every option including exclusive interior. [ will look like an S6 ] but will have better mpg of over 30mpg but still manage better performance than my supercharged.

My haed says A6 - but my heart is saying how can you not go for the interior of the Q7 Confused Confused Confused Confused

VA - honest , I am really tempted - the interior is just awsome.

Here is a pic of it wrapped up having been delivered to the dealer. Took the pic with my N95 - not bad considering it was very dark and about to drop the heavens on us.

Seriously mate it's an ugly ugly car! The image it projects is old middle class. If you're spending this much money I would keep the RRS - cheaper in the long run. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I also like the new A5 .......... 0-60 in 5.9 from a 3.0d it's awsome - I test drove a 3.0tdi Avant and that felt as quick as my supercharged 0-60 7sec .... with plus 30mpg around town. BEST bit....... doesnt even sound like a diesel at all ........... fantastic engine Thumbs Up

Idealy I would like a RRS with the 4.2tdv8 engine from the new audi q7 plus the quality of the audi q7 interior.

I think I will have a change for 18mths - then return to a new RRS that has all the latest toys bells and whistles. . . . OK .... 18 mnths is being a bit optamistic Wink
