Cheers for that info Tim (darned fast too)!!

So, if I understand you correctly, the Halfrauds (Flash) unit is as good and does the same thing - yes?

Did anyone ever get Ionic filters installed (Sorry I have been away and am trying t o catch up).

I really wanted an inline fliter for the hose pipe to run into the jet washer. It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!

Patrick, in sales (at ionic systems), needs to get guidance from his sales director for the group buy.

He's hoping to speak to him later today................. 2022 P440e AB

latest update here :-

Hi Patrick,

£39.99 was the price given by "The Ultimate Finish" for a group buy of 12. Seems there was a misunderstanding and that vendor thought they were all going to one address or something.

I decided to try and match that price with you as the members on RRSport.co.uk are felling a bit led down the garden path by that site and won't buy from them now.

We're now up to about 18 filters required (a couple of members require 2).

Could you consider giving us a one off discount to £40? After all, there are going to be around 16 repeat customers (assuming the filters are as good as advertised). If you can't, I understand of course. It's just we can't count on our members placing orders with Ionic or with any of Ionic's distributors.

If you don't do the discount, maybe one of your distributors would. Could you recommend one that we might ask?

Thanks
Paul

Dear Paul,

I have had a chat with Reuben our Sales Director, Where abouts did you get the price for the filters at £39.99?? We have always sold these for £44.99 delivered?
That is the best price we can do on these as they will all need seperate invoices and we will all need to be sent seprately to each customer.

I think I will be returning to Sainsbury to buy a refill for the Flash system....................... the local Halfrauds don't even stock the cartridges now and have only a couple of the soap refills left. They say that there isn't the demand for them. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have just emailed another couple of firms about these, I think it may be tight on the price but I will let you know if I get anywhere.

Is there a url link for buying (£44.99 incl. del) these directly from Ionic Systems or do we have to phone order.
I tried their online catalogue but that link just has a product catalogue for the US market. MY08 RR Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black; Black Leather; Privacy glass

OK guys this is where I am at.

I found found a place that will do the Aquagleams at £39.10 incl delivery if there are at least 18 orders.

The other option still being looked into is the refillable one, I know the initial cost is very high but I think it could pay for itself fairly quickly. We are also looking into a smaller vessell which would lower the initial cost.

I know the Aquagleams / one off units look the best / easy option but I have read a few posts saying that 25 washes is about all you will get from them and if you are in a very bad water area then you are best having the 2 filters which certainly brings the refillable ones back into the equation. This is why I have not gone for one yet, I love the idea of the 'pure' water but I do at least 3 cars at least once a week and the water here is fairly bad.

Let me know your thoughts, I will keep plodding on.
