Nokia N95 - Help Please

I have an 08 RR Sport and a nokia 95, I am having considerable teething problems making the two work together, it appears to be very hit and miss at the moment, sometimes the n95 speaks to the RRS and other times it doen't .
If anyone has any solutions of advise I would really appreciate the help with this as using the handsfree option is very hit and miss at best.

Regards

I find this a feature of almost all bluetooth connections everywhere. I gave up and have a Nokia cable car kit fitted in my D3 - works perfectly every time.

Wifes RRS is similarly hopeless on bluetooth. Cheers

There is an update for the N95 that I believe will make your world a happier place. It has been discussed here before, if you search you should come up trumps with the detail.

I am having the same problem with my 08 TDV8.

The dealer did a complete software reinstall but still doesn't work...need to go back.

I have a E90 and what I have found is that when I turn off the phone's bluetooth and then back on and then connect to phone it works fine. A real drag having to do this everytime you start the car!

Could it be the phone or car???

Though I am sure that my E90 was working fine with my 07 TDV8!

Let us know if you solve the problem and I'll do the same.

Cheers Rob

There's a lot to be said for just getting a 6230 and keeping it in the car. This phone seems to work faultlessly, but then you could argue why should you need to do that.... Confused

That was definately my plan, ive never used any feature on the N95 other than bluetooth sync with outlook at home, calls and texts. The camera i use like once every few months. However i never really liked the 6230.

Anyone know any (slicker) alternatives that work well?

Exactly what I've done.

I've tried various phones & keep coming back to the 6230. Not just for RRS compatability, it's the most stable & robust phone I've had in years.

What'll I do if it ever dies, or breaks though Big Cry
