27mpg!!! and its been chipped, whats going on with my bleedin saab then, i don't know if its the trip computer thats wrong, or maybe i need the dealers to look at it but the trip computer says that i'm getting 15-18mpg!!!

Don't know about Saab's Val - Never owned one myself. What I can say, is that My RRS TDV6 is less thirsty than the Audi A4 Avant S line 1.8T (petrol) that it replaced! The other thing is, I did an experiment a few weeks ago where I drove the RRS very sensibly for a couple of days and averaged mid 30's mpg! But, to be honest I got bored, so went back to driving it in a fun (but of course responsible ) way, and this is when I get 27mpg on average. I'm very happy with the fuel consumption overall 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

thanks for all the advice everyone, think i'll go with a TDV6, will contact Kam some time after xmas, might get a better deal when everyone is broke, lol

I've been told before that Dec is a good time to screw a dealer to the wall as they have their end of year quotas to fulfil..... no harm in contacting Kam up front, he is a patient man as I can attest

around £30,000 maybe £33,000 at a push,but dont tell the missus, lol. might be able to do a cash deal for the right vehicle.
