Sean here. I used to lurk about on the Disco3.co.uk forum before my ex Mrs left with with my Disco3 haha. Now I've got a RRS 2005 TDV6 HSE in a horrible shade of red!

Aaaand I though I'd left behind the HDC/Suspension Lowered error cascade, but NO..

So just waiting for a new battery as this one isn't holding charge for even a day and hoping that the low voltage is a contribution to the errors I'm getting so far.

So here's my "new" toy - bought in May 22.



2011MY 5.0 S/C. Lots of main dealer and good indy history and I thought fairly unmodified - of course didn't turn out to be quite true, but mostly straight now.

Bought mainly to get around in the Winter - I live on a Cotswold hill where most winters there are days where it's just tractors and Land Rovers (with sensible tyres) moving around. At least there is plenty of parking when others leave their cars at the bottom of the hill . Also serves as removal van to take stuff over to Wales. And tow vehicle to pull along the occasional trailer bearing a 60s British classic car.

Always a nice place to be behind that creamy V8 petrol. 1963 Series 2A 88 - Marine Blue/White - Basic, fun, deeply uncivilised! 200tdi conversion. Fairey overdrive. Sold to a friend for an offer I couldn't refuse

Just registered on this forum. I have a 2010 RRS HSE V6 3.0tdi. I have worked indirectly for JLR (as a supplier) for the last 20years and I'm thrilled to finally own one.

FYI - I was the lead engineer for both the Integrated Head Unit (Alpine IHU) and latterly the Infotainment Audio Module (Alpine IAM 2.1), any questions please feel free to ask....

I now design JLR climate seats and heated seats, again please feel free to ask any questions....

Hi, RRS SDV6 owner for past 5 years. I'm second owner and bought car with 30K on clock. Now at 80k. I can see things are going to wear out but love this car and want to keep it and maintain it as best as is possible by a non-mechanic, but practical owner. Anything I can do myself I will, but need to bear in mind my limitations.

They are an endless source of good knowledge that i gain huge benefit from - so would love to help build the knowledge base and contribute (have done so on other forums). Let me know if there's something you want me to research an write up - i'll share what i know so far.

I have been an audi boy my whole life and still have two. I hated the urban 'kiddy killers' (horrible stories from the old days in Oz) running around Clapham but recently bought a 2009 RRS as i now live in the sticks as the S5 doesn't wade through the 2' puddles as well - so is going.

Thank you for letting me join what looks like a very informative club. In the process of buying my 1st RRS. Been a BMW saloon man for years, but always loved the look of the Range Rover sport. Done lots of research, and finally found what I think is a good one(fingers crossed). Pick her up Friday 1st December. Will be looking for a specialist to look after her, can anyone recommend a good garage around the Suffolk area.

Look forward to reading through some of these articles and gaining more knowledge on these beasts
