Just thought I would say a quick hi after acquiring a 2012 MY RRS a short while ago! I reluctantly got rid of my FFRR a couple of years ago (also a member of the FFRR sister forum) and just had to scratch that LR/money pit itch again...

Hi like minded people.
New to site but not to rr. Had a few over the yrs
From 2 dr v8s through but last one was a p38.
Had a few bad one aswell.
Anyway just got a rrs with a few problems and not delivered
Till tomorrow 6 April
Then give it a good going over.
I already know c.locking not working.
And aftermarket radio is poo.
Hand break not working ( auto box)
But my god it looks nice .

Hi guys, new to the group. Looking to buy my first rrs in the coming weeks. Now live in South Africa. Hoping to pick some brains to avoid the many pitfalls!

Hello all,
My first time trying RR after many years with VW and 8 years with 2 Touaregs.

Jumped in with a 7,000 mile Nov 19 HSE Dynamic in Black (the fastest colour as we all know......!)

Had it for 3 weeks and put many miles on with long motorway drives (1 per week) to Cambridge, London and Worcester.

Really enjoying it and finding surprise features not listed on build sheet (found my gesture tailgate when washing it)

still not worked out sim card yesterday (mainly because i am an old technophobe) and front camera listed on build sheet is yet to be found.

I hope to remain happy with this comfy fast bus and NOT be turned into a LR moaner by niggles.

Just joined so, if i post somewhere i shouldn't or on the wrong page, i apologise in advance.
I own a 2011 RRS twin turbo diesel.... love this car. I've had it for 7 years.

A question i would like to ask is..... it's regarding the handbrake module.
I've read many threads on different sites.
From what i gather, there always seems to be something that causes it to fail....wrong adjustment, not maintained brakes ect...
From other sites like Spanner Monkey ,Techmate and Range Rover techinfo. The module rarely ever fail entirely or need replacing.

Does it start to make noise if the plastic internals start to slip or wear out?
If anyone would like to share their opinion on this.
