Hello all

Just signed up after collecting my SVR (2015 model) at Christmas so I thought I come and say 'Hi!'

Loving the car and hopefully it will become my daily driver.

Spent a little time this evening reviewing a few interesting topics as I do have some niggles I'll be addressing shortly:
- suspension fault message on cold start - every time since I collected it Sad
- can/do svr's have the FBH option?
- are there options to 'upgrade' the quality of the reversing cam?
- I think there are cams installed in the front splitter in the corners (kerb cams?). can I 'activate' them as I believe only reversing cam was a option on this car...

OK I best stop there as I'm already way off-topic.

I would like to know if anybody has had their 22 inch wheels sprayed black, post purchase and do they regret it ?

Looking forward to hearing your points of view in the future Smile SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh

Hi Andy and welcome,
I have a 2016 SVR so perhaps I may help/or not Rolling Eyes

1: I don't get the warning at all, if I was you straight back and get that sorted

2: I don't have the FBH option on my car but you can get the full spec of the car off Topix by just putting in the vin number and it will give you the build details and options that was put on it, or just go to a Land Rover dealership and ask them to print it out for you, there you will find it.

3: I believe what you got is what you get with the reversing camera, are you having problems??

4:again check the build sheet spec and it will tell you whether you had the full camera system fitted. If you hit the camera image on the centre dashboard screen this should give you the options for what you have fitted and you'll be able to select the view(s) you would like to use.

With respect to the wheels, I like shiny shiny so can't help you with the painting to black.

I hope this is some sort of help and let us know how you get on Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Hi:

Shocked Hi Everybody, I have been an owner of various RRS's for several years. I never buy from new and rarely from dealers. This is not a trust thing just cash saving thing- or supposedly! Evil or Very Mad

I have recently purchased a 2008 RRS-Hse and bought it under good authority that the car was really good, an upgrade on my 2007 HSE and with the same milage. WELL! where do I start? Lets just say £3k later I'm nearly there. There is one problem that has me, my machanic and my local Land Rover mechanic stumped. When driving straight my car sounds and drives fab, when going round roundabouts everything is good "mostly"BUT, every so often I get a repeated clicking noise and car seems to ease but keeps moving. Then as it starts it stops! It is not the cv joints I have been informed and nobody as yet can give me a definite diagnosis. Can anybody help me as to what my problem maybe? please. Big Cry

Dave Higgy

Hi Tim, thanks you for the reply. I am not even sure what a Dynanic Response system is (I'm so car dumb I thought it was a very fast car machannic!...lol). But it gives me something to ask my mechanic. Thanks again.

Dynamic Response is an electro-hydraulic system that makes the car corner flatter at speed on the road and off the road and on the dirt it will also increase rear wheel articulation by dislocating the rear anti-rollbars automatically if needed. It is pretty effective at doing its job. It has a filler cap at the front of the engine bay near to the windscreen water filler on cars equipped with it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi all I've just joined as I'm on the hunt for a late top spec Sport and thought this would be a good place to find out what and what not to be buying.

I had a Range Rover sport 2.7 Tdv6 HSE in 2006 which I loved but due to a change of job and company car had to sell it after 18 months but not I need to by a car again and am currently looking for a 12 - 13 plate

Matt.
