Removing air suspension unit.

May need to remove the air suspension unit..quite happy with the mechanical side but what is the best way to release the air from the system before unbolting Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

If you're just taking the air compressor off, you don't need to depressurise the system - the reservoir valve block immediately adjacent to the compressor separates the compressor from the rest of the system. You only need to depressurise if working on anything else downstream of that valve block i.e. everything else.

I seem to remember that people have just loosened the voss connector a touch and let it depressurise that way. I'm sure a search here, and more importantly, on Disco3.com will confirm that. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Just crack the connectors (front-rear/centre valve blocks) until you hear a slight hiss then go and have a cup of tea and when you finish the system will be decompressed. 07MY RRS TDV6
