New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Bit extreme but have you searched any breakers yard for a write off or scrap one where the floor is ok, and you could cut out the section you need, not sure if there are any differences in the floor pan on say a 2012/13 though as there have been a lot of changes to the part number over the years for the bodyshell. Funnily enough the part number for the floor section that is available is the same as the Disco 4, but it is still the only section available for the Disco, but it might wider your option if you did look for a breaker. Another option could be a good metal fabricating or custom car building body shop could fabricate a section for you, but I can't imagine it would cheap.

Cheers
Col

It’s not structural. (Assuming not within an inch or seat mounts )
So I would fix the water leak. Then put some rust treatment or oil over the area

Thank you.
I Will check if it is possible to save the floor.
It is not interfering with seat installation.
There are not so many RRS or D3/4 with breakers in Sweden, but I will check.

I will be back.

I think you will find the only double skinned part will be the inner sill at the side.

You are Right Col. Only the floor and not anything below.
My floor is too bad to keep so it must be repaired/changed.
Luckily I have found a D3 ready for scrap-yard ( I don’t know the correct word) and hope that
I can find a useful floor there.
I will check it tomorrow.
A little bit of light in the tunnel 😉.
I don’t know yet where the water comes from?.
Aircon drains cleaning is next job?
Any other ideas?

There are several areas where leaks can occur, if you do a search quite a few posts should turn up, I believe the main ones are the trim clips for the 'A' post outer trims on the earlier cars at least, sunroof drain tubes if you have a sunroof, can also leak in through the vent opening under the front screen scuttle panel, sure there are other areas which other members can enlighten you on.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

Hi Col,

Surprisingly, my facelift 2010 RRS, the A posts were the same as the prefacelift models. I had to seal the holes under the trim too.

Many thanks

Thanks for help with the possible source of water ingress.
I have fixed the drain from sunroof forward left and right side and it is working.
Aircon drain looks ok inside but have to find the ends underside.
If there is a leak at the air intake below the front window I think the water would wet/pass
the pollen filter? Dry pollen filter, no leak?
I will start pouring water in the A-pillar holes under the trims and check inside.

I have found a good floor today and cut it out in the weekend. 😎

Do know how to disconnect the black ventilation (very flat) tubes under the mat from the center console?
Seen in picture above.
