I had the same issue, I went trough discs, track rod ends and the problem was still there. Turned out to be bottom arm bushings, the hydro bush had split and emptied so I replaced with solid bushing and the problem has gone, I did fit new OE bottom ball joints too but the old ones seemed fine, so I would say it was 100% the rear hydro bushes that were causing the wobble when braking.

Hi all, update
after a year and about 15,000 km and after grinding the front discs the problem recurs: at 100/120 km/h pressing the brake pedal lightly the steering wheel vibrates......
so I rechecked some components:
no play on tie rod end and spindle connecting rod
full alignment
run-out of the front discs: 10/100 on dial gauge
new front lower control arm bushing
do I have to resign myself to replacing the front brake discs without ever finding a cause....?
thank you
Giacomo

Check that the disc mounting screw isn't sticking out just a little bit. It needs to be either recessed in the hole, or flush. Even just a tiny fraction will mean that the wheels don't go on flush to the hub. The wheels will always be in balance when checked off the car, but you'll introduce some variation if your screw isn't flush when you mount them.
