You could connect to an ignition supply.

Thanks - was thinking the same thing. I’m going to slice into the pin 14 wire - seems this is the ignition wire (please correct me if wrong) of the headlight harness to the red positive wire on light and hook up the white / negative somewhere near by. |

If I remember right Pin No. 2 is sidelight/fairy lights. Red/black wire L/H Headlight, red/orange R/H, I think that's the right way round, or at least on a UK spec. car.

Thanks Col - would the red wire from the angle eye connect to the sidelight wire and the white to any neutral/ground wire? |

Not actually a auto electrician, but don't really see any reason why not, only thing is they would only be on when the lights are actually on, unless you used one of the DRL configurations in the CCF files although there are only a couple of options. Pin No.1 appears to be side light earth if you wanted to use that as the earth connection.

Makes perfect sense. I was thinking if I did the fuse (drl) mod that’s spoken on here (connection of the fuses) first - won’t the angle lights of the fog light turn on as a drl? After all it’ll be connected to the fairy lights on the headlight? —> Fog lights are turned via switched and stay on with the angle eye. |

What I meant was if you simply wire them direct to the sidelight they will only work via the light switch, you would need a ignition live otherwise which is what the fuse/wiring modification does I believe.
