United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Lux Santorini Black
Red light

Hi all after spending many hours and money on the car it was running perfect until now and i am not sure if the problems are related. firstly a new battery LUCUS about 6 months ago, but suddenly its discharging after about 36 hours, my pump is new and works fine, also if i turn left the indicators are fine but if i turn right they work fine but in the car they are clicking at twice the speed as if a bulb is out , last night i got in the car red light on after jump starting the car then i guess when enough power in the battery the light went out and suspension pump kicked in and all was well. tonight the same thing but after driving for a few minutes the red light came on and wont go out the codes i am getting are U0132 lost communication , and B1b02 low frequency coil are they related could it be the battery or something else.

Regards mark

I’m in a similar boat to you, new battery 7 to 8 months back and now the battery is on its way out. This is the second battery as the first with the same symptoms I have now lasted 9 months. I knew something was off when it was slow to turn the starter yesterday so popped it on the CTEK and today it was showing green...but wouldn’t turn over. So tomorrow I’m off to try and get it replaced again. It’s a YUASA which I thought were good but my experience of them is not brill, 2 On my Focus in 4 years and 2 on the Range Rover in 16 months. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
2012 5.0 SC AB. Sadly written off by a campervan

1943 Whites M16 Halftrack (Current)

U0132 is a loss of communication with the air suspension control module. There are 4 associated codes. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi with the engine running it hovers around 14 volts but battery goes flat after 36 hours so i am sure it has dead cell even though its only 6 months old as far a i know the alternator is ok no battery light on or faults come up new pump brake light switch etc
