United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Stornoway Grey
My Full Fat Range Rover Vogue

Ok, so now you know I am changing, I should get the car in a couple of weeks as I've got to wait for my private plate to be transferred, for it to be serviced (It was last done only 200 miles ago but back in August by Landrover HQ, but they forgot to stamp the book, so the Dealer has to service it again so the book can be stamped!) have some bits and pieces fitted and get the privacy glass and tracker sorted out.

The car I'm getting is in Tonga Green with Aspen leather piped with parchment, burr walnut wood and Aspen carpets. I'm having a towbar, mudflaps and privacy glass fitted, plus some new mats etc.

Some of the cool things about the FFRR as opposed to the Sport I've got at the moment are as follows:

Sunroof
Electric adjustable steering wheel
Heated Steering Wheel
Electric Lumbar with up/down movement also
Electric headrest adjustment
On screen car data (Cons1, Cons2, stopwatch, trip etc)
Venture Cam
Reversing Camera
MP3 playing with full ID tags (See photo below) It also allows you to skip by album

Normal cruise control (Haleluyah)
One touch windows
TV
Programable Park Heating (Yes, I too will have a FBH!)
Dual blade sunvisors
Sunglasses holder
Better seat adjustment
Better cup/bottle holder in front
Normal courtesy lighting in the rear - thank god
Easier to reach window switches on the door
LED rear lights
Adjustable temperature of face vents
Split tailgate which I prefer

So all in all, I'm pretty chuffed about the change now I have got used to the idea. I'll still miss the driving characterisics of the Sport, of course, and the way the interior envelopes you. However I have to say I will enjoy all the features above and of course, being on 18" alloys as standard (the newer twin spoke design as its an 06 MY car) I won't be ruining sets of alloys when I take it offroad!

Once I get the car with all the work done I'll post some new pictures, it will look quite different to how it does now. L319 D4 HSE

Gorra say RRUK i was torn between the FFRR and the RRS, love the RRS driving and the superb looks, but it does lack in the luxury department, hopefully L/R will do something about that soon as i don't really like the looks of the FFRR, as standard it looks dated, IMO of course, Lets see some pics when you get it. I hope you have a very happy relationship some of my Previous cars

LR are stuck between a rock and hard place... they can't make the RRS as luxurious as the FFRR. It would knock the RRS price point up into FFRR territory and make one of them redundant. I think what needs to happen (and I'm sure will) is that the FFRR needs to be "modernised" so it can keep it's position at the top of the product range, but also appeal to those sorts of drivers who would otherwise have gone with the RRS (if it wasn't simply a case of cost or looks).... Just my 2p though, I'd happily drive round in a FFRR if I could afford it.

Moon Safari is the Album Name, by Air. (Frenchies)

I guess it depends on how you burn the MP3 discs as to what displays in that second line. I was just trying one of my discs in my dad's car. L319 D4 HSE

Does make sense not to have both cars at the top of the tree, if they were to make the FFRR a bit more sleek looking like the RRS i would definitely Thumbs Up have one some of my Previous cars

Does make you wonder if they will take the merits of both and produce 1 awsome motor for the future Rolling Eyes

esp in this present climate we see ourselves heading into.

The new F2 will become the replacement for the sport if they do merge the 2 into 1 ..................

as for disco and defender Confused

Not sure! Confused I like it, the sat nav graphics are better although the maps are the same. It have half leather half fabric seats which are not that nice, they need full leather. Drives well, more like a car. All in all it's nice and airy and good! Thumbs Up 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
