United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

I believe the FFRR is due for a major upgrade in 2008. It will be interesting to see how radical the changes are.

Hope you enjoy your car. I think they make a great purchase, especially when buying a lightly used model.

I've always been tempted by a used autobiography but the tdv8 sport stopped me from straying.

Enjoy,

Just a minor point....

...read reviews of TDV8 FFRR and RRS and apparantly the TDV8 sounds more refined in the RRS....

....which is a bit arse about face as the RRS is suuposed to be a sportier version of the FFRR....

The TDV8 RRS sounds sportier if that's more refined then I guess you are right. To my mind quieter is more refined.

Having driven neither ( Big Cry ), I can only go with what i've read.

I read that the engine was "More refined in RRS than in FFRR"

I would have EXPECTED RRS to be noisier/Sportier and FFRR to be quieter i.e. more refined but that is not what i read!

The plan is to keep this new one until the warranty runs out (about 2 yrs left). Then there should be plenty of the TDV8 cars around for sale second hand.

Who knows though, I may grow to love this one so much I keep it longer. I'm really looking forward to it now. L319 D4 HSE

Im borrowing one for the weekend at easter, not sure whether it will be petrol/diesel yet.. but looking forward to it all the same.. still remember that ride at solihull test facility when i let the right front bumper kiss the barrier... OUCH! instructors fault obviously.. DON'T BRAKE.. OK.. CCCHHHRRRSSSSZZZ (of the noise of the bumper scraping down the side barrier..) Laughing

(by the way, anyone lets me have a go in their RRS/RR or other car.. i am a good driver- honest..)
