I got the remote and module, just plugs in the boot. I have the iid tool so I activated it myself. Pre heat is the best thing I ever bought, works at up to 1km away. I bought my kit from bodsy, took only a couple of days to arrive.
It's well worth purchasing a ctek charger and the tow electrics adaptor, to ensure you keep the battery topped up.

Thanks I spotted this last night and contacted him via PM on here but haven't heard anything yet? I also noticed he does Bell remaps I thought he did or used to work for Alive?

Where did you get the iid tool? Would it be worth buying just to do these bits or has it other uses? How much was it? Cheers Laurence.

The IID tool is well worth the money, it allows you to fault find and change settings, I have already enabled the towing settings and the puddle lights in the mirrors.

Never mind being able to read the fault codes etc. 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography
2013 Grey Black Edition SDV6 (lasted a while but gone now)
2005 Grey Supercharged Sport (gone but never forgotten)

Get the BT (Bluetooth) it works with your phone, tablet and is tied to your vin number for fixes or changes to the CCF.

The Pro (Professional) will work with any VIN but needs an annual licence fee.

Well worth having.

There is a group buy over on the disco3 forum for the iid tool, ran by Duckworth’s think you save about £10 over their Ebay item https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/new-iid-group-buy-sign-161417.html
Or if in no rush might be worth waiting for one of the eBay discount codes that seem to pop up every so often usually a 10% saving can be had. Also, might be worth checking to see if you already have the heater remote fitted, there was no mention of it when I bought my car but on checking it was already fitted, just had to buy the remote fob ofF Bodsy to get it all working,
