Waze works Tim however no speed limit, no current speed, no camera or police alerts no potholes no broken down cars - just sat nav! Is it the same in your Mini? |

Had the 18c update installed a week ago but cannot find the CarPlay icon on the home screen, even when scrolling through. Is it something I have to enable in the settings? I have an MY17 with ICTP Pro btw. |

Where I live we don’t have many of those warnings at the moment so I don’t know is the answer! I do get them with Navmii in ACP though 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |

My understanding is you need 18c AND CarPlay to be enabled.

Thats right...when the update rolled out a firmware update to 18c would install car play and android auto as standard but now that JLR charge for this on a new build the dealer needs to tick a box before the install for it to be on your car retrospectively. My dealer confirmed this when I picked it up...he told me we did it for you but dont spread the word as its no longer free. |

Thanks...google search seems to show Apple wont allow these types of alerts on carplay so probably not car specific.. |

On the new car configurator ACP/AndroidAuto are now listed as a £200 optional extra for New Evoque. I suppose it could be used as a deal negotiation item like the now £900 5 year service agreement 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
