My wife collected her new Seat Arona today. The saleman connected her i phone to the system, it linked immediately and within minutes apple car play was up and running. Pretty good I think from a £20k car that came with Apple Car play as standard. The sat nav also looks to be rather better than my RRS system, destinations can be typed in at normal speed rather than one letter and wait before entering the next. I won't criticise my RRS though as in 2 years and 28k of motoring it has been superb.

RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame..

Just seen this ask

I usually get around 17mpg on a lengthy spirited 50 ml drive in dynamic sport mode mixed motorway and cross county
And on same journey have also achieved as low as 4mpg

My SVR arrived at dealer early this week without CarPlay.

A big thanks to Matt and Mike from Lookers Park Royal RR Sales for getting CarPlay installed ahead of its handover this evening.

Early days - but works a treat, just like in my 911.2.

If anything imho - CarPlay looks much better in widescreen

Hey mate, I picked up my ex demo SVR last week and seeing Matt from lookers Park Royal this week. I wanted to check something with you. Over the last week or so I have only done 30min drives, mainly in traffic averaging at 15mph, always in eco and only getting 11mpg. Surely that cant be right? What do you think and what do you get? I downloaded my journeys from the remote app and a little concerned. I was hoping for 20mpg.

Appreciate your thoughts and thanks in advance!

My Deezer and Tune In Radio has stopped displaying in Car Play after working pretty much perfectly, well apart from Deezer which wasn't showing playlists on occasions, anyone else got any issues? The apps are there on car play, just when you try to open them there is no info. I have deleted and reinstalled the apps on my iphone but not made any difference... Thanks

Hi Tim,

Yes, I guess that is likely the culprit then, anyone's guess then when that will then get sorted, and who that is down to thanks Sad

I had my 2019MY P400e updated the other day and Apple Car play was installed also by the dealer. I cannot get it to work wirelessly with my iPhone XS, it only works when plugged into the USB. Any ideas anyone? 2018/68 RRS PHEV - Indus (sold)

I had the dealer install apple car play on my 19SVR and it’s become a little temperamental.
When someone calls me I can’t hear them through the speakers, my parking cameras and sensors do funny things and it’s just overall seems like it’s become a little buggy (if that’s a word).

Anyone else experiencing this?

Really not impressed with ACP Confused

I don’t use iApple car play mostly because I can’t be bothered to plug my phone in. Shouldn’t have to in a 2019 car. 2018/68 RRS PHEV - Indus (sold)

I'm on 12.3.1. Thanks for that, although disappointing as being able to answer a call is a basic requirement they should perfect. 2018/19 Range Rover Sport SVR [black]

Totally agree Garry. Was my first reaction too. '' Why the f do I still need to plug my phone in', I had just purchased a wireless charger too. Rolling Eyes 2018/19 Range Rover Sport SVR [black]

Just picked my MY19.5 (so the salesman said), and when using ACP, I can’t see any way of getting back to the main menu...unless I unplug my phone! 😖
Am I missing something obvious?
