Ground level to top edge of bumper on mine is about 720mm standard height, in access height should drop around another 50mm I think. I am running 21" wheels which probably increase the height slightly.

We have St Bernard's and always used a ramp to get the dogs in the boot.

Hi Ravingmad, what is the space like in the back with the St Bernards? I currently have the one Newfoundland and am looking at getting a second, I don't know if the rear is going to be too tight and that's what is making me think about the discovery. Can I ask what made you decide on the sport compared to the RR or discovery?
