I have a suspension fault which I need some help with.

I've invested in a 'IIDTool BT' and have some fault codes which I'm hoping you can help me with........

First off, the compressor isn't operating, I've checked the relay and it's being powered and there is 12V across the contact also.
I've measured at the compressor connector and on start up the power is applied until the fault is detected.
I know it sounds obvious that it's the compressor that's failed but I replaced it in the last 2 years so just want to verify that there isn't some control logic preventing it from running.

If there is power to the relay as above does that negate the pressure switch, valves etc?

Hi Rob,

might not be much help but as you have the IID tool have you updated the compressor software?

It's easy to do and you never know, it could (if you're lucky) fix your faults.

Might be worth checking the compressor inlet pipework. If it's blocked/partially blocked then that will prevent the system from raising the vehicle.

Compressor doesn't start, don't want to admit it but looking like I need my second one within 2 years.

Looking at the AMK Upgrade!

Mine just had second AMK in 2 years! Had amber warning light so indy changed filter and discovered that one of the pipes from the compressor that goes inside the tailgate panel and sucks clean air in was missing, therefore sucking dirty air in and causing compressor to struggle! Best part of £700.00 later...

Highside, it would still be worth checking that the pipes are clear. No point killing another compressor. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
