Good spot - looked at a couple of other reports/articles most miss the pre-2015 point which is somewhat fundamental. |

Other option is to not take a diesel engined car into Central London.......... I wonder how all the cabbies will fare when they are waiting on a taxi rank as many black cabs are diesels.

But surely if they are parked, they are not polluting? Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4 |

Unfortunately, politicians want to be seen to be taking a stance in the wake of VW et al.

Somebody is talking sensibly about Euro6 Diesels and the choice we have to make - CO2 or Air Quality basically, and CO2 has by far the worse conscequences for the world - global warming.

He certainly is, but if voters grow a brain cell, he shouldn't last till 2025 like he expects to for his plans. John

I also see that he aims to reduce speed limits to 20mph in Central London.............. whenever I walk through the west end during the day it seems that I overtake most of the traffic at my walking pace. He must be too used to his chauffeur driven limo with police outriders clearing the streets ahead of his cavalcade 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
