Been away for a couple of nights to a hotel with no charge facility over the festive break so thought I'd post some figures - 100 miles going there managed 42 mpg (full drive battery) mix of EV/Hybrid with 2 adults and small amount of luggage - didn't preheat Rolling Eyes

Parked up 2 days with no charging - return trip (flat drive battery) managed 35 mpg over 100 miles this trip with 4 adults, dog and loaded to roof with luggage in pure hybrid mode

So my worst mpg to date is 35 (same as my DS) or 38.5 if you average whole 200 mile trip Thumbs Up

Electric for December was £24 making cost to date £92 Elec/£186 Petrol (£278) over 3200 miles = equivalent to approx 60 mpg combined

Chatting with a Nissan Leaf driver yesterday and he said in summer he gets 90 miles on battery but down to 70 at moment - batteries don't like cold Sad

We were trying to recharge but 3 Censored parked on the electric points at York designer outlet in their diesel motors so we couldn't Evil or Very Mad

3 months in and still think I made the right choice - as long as it doesn't do any worse than the DS 35 mpg and stays fault free Mr. Green Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Happy new year BC - glad you're still with us - with all the losses last year and how quiet you've been we were getting worried - odds were mentioned on you and Bruce Forsyth seeing the year out due to your ages Rolling with laughter Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still around, just not that much time for forums sadly, new house earlier in 2016 is taking a lot of time to get the outside sorted, so most spare time is spent chainsawing, clearing ditches or just trying to get the fields in better order.....love it though Very Happy ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Happy birthday Muddy. You are young really but sound like an old git.

I browse but don't post much as I know nothing about the L494 and I have forgotten what I knew about the RRS1. I know "nowt" as you say about the PLEB (good one BC)

I still don't care for the look of back of the RRS2 even though I am really trying to like it, SVR excepted of course. Even the V8 SC has 2x little exhausts.

This time of year, busy enjoying summer and time on board the good ship BKHK. It's a bit hot (41) this week. I am still loving the M3, it really does make me smile when I drive it. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Happy new year guys.

Well done Muddy, I honestly thought that the float would have been gone by now Whistle I am amazed though how much pleasure the Float appears to be giving you, e.g:-
29.04132041 MPG
Electrickery £1.12.4 pence per 500 yards (at your age you should understand this) Whistle
Not sure how you calculate tyre wear, however I understand rubber on the Float is expensive Big Cry

Anyway, here's to a great new year Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Far be it from me to suggest, but being a Yorkshire Man, maybe its not the Float, but the money saving calculations you enjoy. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

The low running costs are obviously nice but the main thing is that everything works and I'm not booking it in at the dealers constantly for warranty repairs Whistle

I wouldn't be happy with 29 mpg though Rolling Eyes

Not sure about tyre wear yet so will have to see but hopefully running winter and summer tyres will see me through ownership Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
