Turbo Actuator stuck

I am pretty convinced my passenger side turbo actuator has stuck, it did the same thing last year, before I book it in to get it look at, how hard is it to reach without a 4 post ramp?
Is there anyway I can reach it from above? 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

I had an actuator problem once car was warn 10 miles turned car off then 5 min later it was actuator was stuck and was told its body off as the turbos are buried deep
so I got some wurth creep oil high temp and drowned the area were I thought it would be from the top and underneath put cardboard on the drive and let it some in I started it 3or 4 times hopping the oil would work its way in and yes it did all works well now

Mine was drivers side I took all the black plastic track out and under trays 61 AB 5.0 supercharged rocket

Sounds a possible solution Neil, hopefully permanent. Wink

Showing some ignorance, how can you tell it's the turbo actuator stuck? John

You get a engine management fault on the display, and pulls away like a 1980's Skoda 😊 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

I thought is read somewhere that from 2007 the actuator is operated several times every time he ignition is turned on and off to keep it moving freely, I can here some movement behind the heat shield in fns wheel arch when ignition is cycled which I believe is the actuator Nanocom Evo

Funnily enough, i have just cycled the ignition 10 times and we are back to full power with no engine management light on, i drove round my estate on tickover and everything was fine, I booted it on the main road and got the warning message back up, I turned it off and on again another 10 times and so far it hasnt come back, went from zero to 40 away from the lights in sport mode, it reved through to about 4k before changing gear. A bit of black smoke from the exhaust, but apart from that were back on top 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

Fingers crossed, I'm losing power between 3.5 and 4K revs puts some Revive through air intake to try and clean turbo vanes which helped, having a terra clean tomorrow see if that helps, don't think the short journeys I do on a regular basis help.
I don't get any system faults and no relevant codes on the nanocom which is frustrating Nanocom Evo
