Back seat seems to be locked in folded down position?

Hi guys

Just been to the tip in my 2010 sport with the back seats folded fully down (ie the base hinged foward and the back folded down flat.for some reason the larger split side (passenger side) section seems to be locked in the down position so I cant lift it back up.

Anyone had this or any suggestions how to release it ?

Try putting a little weight on it - taking it past the lock out phase - this usually allows it to return Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

You need to pull the lever to release the seat. The same lever you pull to lower it. -----------------------------------------------

I sometimes found the rear seat headrest if pushed hard against the folded up bench, stopped the rear seat from lifting back up. Moving the front seat a little forward helped. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
