I believe they have legal right to access the Event Data Recorder (the "black box") which means they are free to access the ECU as well. Regards etc.,

But do they ever check it? I had a claim a few years ago and they didn't.

I'm getting 6mpg extra on the computer. Same driving style and conditions

If all goes well having my S/C re-mapped by Alive on Thursday, only trouble is the Insurance Company want a extra 18.00 Big Cry That's about 50 miles worth of Petrol Rolling with laughter
