I'm sure paddles are for Sport mode only .....? Might be wrong. Never use them Visitor from fullfatrr.com

You can use the paddles in D or S and as you say hold the + paddle for 2 seconds to return to Auto MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

So the manual says 'Gear selection will revert to fully automatic if use of the paddles is not maintained'. I have left it for 30 seconds in the gear selected manually and it doesn't change back to fully automatic. Must be faulty.

I believe its not timed as such its about the revs used - i might be wrong - my wife kept saying the Sport was over reving - she was catching the paddle by mistake when driving in D - try actualy driving in D after activating paddles - see what happens then - might take a few hundred metres 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

It will change up so as to avoid any unnecessary stress to the engine if you don't change up yourself

Well it does go back to fully automatic mode if I leave it without manually changing gear. It just takes quite a few more yards than a previous one I drove. |

Mine depends on what you are doing. If driving steadily, it changes back to auto sooner than if I am in traffic & constantly accelerating and decelerating, or if I am going downhill with no throttle applied. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute. |
