Bit reluctant to tow my 2 ton caravan at the moment after reading so many failure's. I have the receiver with the 2 inch square hole which takes the towbar hitch. Not the swan next hitch. The tongue weight is 350kg . can we have a poll on this to see how many members have used this receiver and have had no issues what so ever and how many have failed. It appears a lot have failed due to not being inserted correctly |

Even the swan-necks are absolutely fine when treated properly (removed, greased etc.). Just check it carefully and keep an eye on it, and you should have no reason to worry. |
