so, needing to refresh the look of my Brembos, and prevent the drums of my new Brembo discs from going (even more) rusty, I've embarked upon a new project. This is what they looked like earlier today:

Looks good but I would like to see a shiny caliper and clear gloss over the sticker would protect it. Otherwise |

The steel drums rust very quickly if they are not coated with any protection. |

I agree with you there, I think a gloss would be optimal to protect everything. I'm gonna look on fleabay tomorrow for clear coat on matt paint. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project. DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights. TO DO: color code sills and pillars. Last edited by tanloverluke on Sun Sep 14 2014 6:59pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Hi Andy, I've just mounted the wheel and I think the drum & caliper matt black combo looks amazing, though I'm not so sure about red being a great combo. I can't take a piccie right now as it's pitch black out, but I'll post one tomorrow morning for you to view. If I had red calipers, I would probably get the drum painted titanium silver so as to match the alloys. Regardless, you should get the drum painted, rust is a horrid colour! you sure can, just have a look on ebay and search for brembo stickers. lots of different sizes and colours. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
