DSC is standard on all Sports as it's part of the overall ABS control system. It uses sensor inputs to determine if stability is being lost and can use changes to engine power and braking (including applying brakes) to control the vehicle. It's tied in to the Terrain Response system so that it has different stability parameters depending on the Terrain Response program being used. It can be turned off temporarily by the driver if required by use of a dashboard switch.
2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I've just realised you have a TDV8. That has both DSC and Dynamic Response. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks RRSTDV8. Tried the SE this morning & its not so tight on the turns so that explains what Dynamic Response does.. Also wasn't that impressed with the 3.0 litre engine against my TDV8 - felt laboured so will look over the coming months for a lowish mileage TDV8 (preferably facelift but they only did the V8 for a year max I think post facelift). Coming home I realised how good the V8 really is.... |
