Bigmalc, Sounds like a great car. There is another solution that is easier, cheaper but a lot less useful. If you have the timed park heating activated by the likes of bodsy you can pre-set a timer to have this come on at a certain time. This could be a temporary solution until you get the parts together to go for the remote activated park heating but I don't see why both timed heating and remote heating couldn't both be activated by bodsy at the same time.

I understood that all RRS up till the latest model had the FBH already fitted. And should have the timed system already downloaded.If not been downloaded I assume Bodsy could do that for you. I had mine done by an Idie £50 Then i fitted the reciever and antena,behind the O/S boot panel. Which is already wired up for this remote operation. Then a remote fob off Ebay around £20. And away you go. Press the on button when you get up in the morning. Get ready have breakfast. Then car warmed up for when you go out. itisme |
