Thought I would check the Map sensor as I wanted to see what difference Blanked EGR valves had made, also I had noticed a very small "buzz" from the engine bay.

I whipped the Engine cover off no problem, only to find the sound deadening foam left on top of the engine, basically the sponge layer that is normally glued in place on the underside of the engine cover moulding had just fell away. In my case I left it alone and just popped the cover back on.

On a positive note, I now my hearing was 100% OK, as the buzzing noise vanishes it I lift the engine cover a tad, the downside will be how much the stealer will want for a new cover  In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

Don't like the price, makes you wonder, I bet there are quite a few Sports and Disco's running around with just the Plastic cover minus the sound deadening pad.
