Does anyone know if there is a max speed when the terrain response is in Grass/Gravel/Snow/Ice mode on a 2007 TDV8, I know when its in off road height at 30MPH it will drop back down, but don't know about this mode.

For winter driving in Europe I would like to have this setting switched on at normal hight but don't want to be stuck at 30MPH unless its deep snow. Also would leaving it in this mode cause any damage, or is it better to leave in normal mode and change as and when required.

I would say leave it in normal and change as required. If you can safely drive fast then the conditions don't require snow mode in my opinion. Grass/Gravel/Snow alters throttle response quite a bit IIRC. This may not be suitable at high speeds (if there isn't a limit that is). If you haven't driven in this mode, try it as you don't need snow to check out the changes it makes.
